I love this restaurant! It is right on the river. There are many menu options to choose from. There is a no credit card rule, but they have an ATM on site. The bbq chicken and sides we're fantastic!

The food was good and people was friendly. I give 4 stars because while it was clean inside and out, there was very little walking room once the restaurant was full. Had to interrupt people's meals just to leave.

Would give 0 stars if possible! Sat outside after we ordered and noticed there was no smoke coming from anywhere? No smoker anywhere on site. That "Smoked Chicken" was baked and dry!!! There was ketchup looking bbq sauce poured the top of the chicken. Staff was rude. Does not take cards. Cash only but ATM on site. We will not go back! Save your time and money. Lesson learned.

Got the pulled pork sandwich...tasted great next time I'm in the area I will definitely be stopping by there again to grab another

The best smoked food Ive ever had besides my own. One meal can feed two people. Shh, don't tell people about this gem.

I specifically asked if the food was smoked. Was told yes. My wife and I ordered the pulled pork sandwich plate. The coleslaw was good, I thought, but my wife thought it was soupy. The fries were fine. The pulled pork? Not a single once of smoked flavor and very mushy. It tasted like it was boiled and had no flavor. The sauces left something to be desired.

Good BBQ. Good variety of food choices from beef, chicken, brisket, burgers and even country cooking.

This is our go to every year we go to Gatlinburg . Food is always great and The drive there is amazing as well.

Even though I went for BBQ, I had the flounder, awesome. My husband had the large BBQ sandwich and tried all the different BBQ sauces and thought it was great, the cole slaw was great too,hush puppies, very yummy.

Excellent BBQ, highly recommended simply for the food. Staff is very nice and helpful. Prices are fair. Will always stop here when in the area.

We were there while on vacation and it was very delicious. The BBQ was a real taste pleaser and the sides were equally as good. The service was also great and we left completely stuffed. If you in Bryson , this is a definite do not miss. Very casual, easy atmosphere with great food. You can't ask for better than that. Loved it, highly recommend!

Wow. What a disappointment. Ribs tasted like they were baked in the oven. No sign of any smoking going on just plain food you need to slather in sauce to get flavor. Don’t be fooled by old school sign and historic look.

Right by the river, good hush puppies... Our chopped pork sandwiches were not the best 😟

A nice BBQ restaurant. The food tasted great and the staff were nice. The eating are was definitely a bit dirty, but nothing that a quick table cleaning couldn’t fix. The meat was flavorful, but seemed to be a bit finely ground. The buns also had something crazy about them, as they constantly would crumble apart. Either way, it tasted good and I left happy.

I enjoyed the sides, & pulled pork. I asked for dry rub ribs & the clerk acted like he didn't know what it was. He was like ok, sure they will be that way. I get them without any rub at all on them. My wife & mother said the owner had a bad personality. She acted bothered to provide a plastic fork or to-go box. If my family was giving the review it would be a zero-5.

Worst ribs I have ever had in my life, & I am 67 years old. I could only eat 2 ribs they were so bad. I cut the bones out, fed them to my dog & she would not eat them. I am sorry but I have nothing good to say about the place.

Quick service and great barbecue pork.

I had a brisket sandwich and it was fantastic... I loved the cole slaw too! The staff was kind and courteous. The outdoor eating area has a great view!

Fall off the bone ribs! Delicious eats and a beautiful river view. I recommend eating outside by the river. Super friendly staff and the locals are happy to give you a lesson in the heritage and history of the town. Hit it up for the large portions and the small town hospitality!

Great food - had the BBQ pork sandwich, cole slaw, and fries - all of it was great! Cash only but they have an ATM. Several types of BBQ sauce, we only tried the mild and it was very good (tomato based, not the vinegar based NC sauce).

Food had absolutely no flavor to it. The pork was cooked well just had no flavor. The vinegar sauce was far from a vinegar sauce. It did not have any flavor either. Not your true tasting NC BBQ. Customer service is not the best either. Woman was rude when I tried to tell her the order was wrong. They don’t take cards. Save yourself money and find somewhere else to eat.

Great food !! Alot of food for a great price

We came in from Columbia South Carolina to ride the Tuck Train in the morning. We saw a nice restaurant and tried it, one of the Best Bbq I've had in North carolina, had to bring mine back to the room!

Very friendly staff, great service and most importantly dam good BBQ. Doesn't matter what you choose because it's all good. The only shame is I can't give them 10 stars.

Staff was super friendly. Food came out really fast, was hot and pork was really tender. Reasonable price for BBQ. Clean dining room and well stocked counter.

Great food. Pepsi products also, which is great in its self. Very full when we left. Good prices. View out side was good also. Outside seating if you want it.

Delicious greasey southern bbq

Local side-of-the-road BBQ joint. It's your average everyday kind of place, as far as quality, quantity, and value go. It is decorated very nicely, with local area, movie, and music memorabilia. The public areas are immaculately clean, and the cook space appears to be similarly well maintained.I have no problem recommending this restaurant for when you want something local and quick. If you want a superior BBQ product, there are other options within a 30-minute to 1 hour drive.

Half chicken plate had dry boiled chicken with cold barbecue sauce smothered on top. Burger tasted very generic and did not have any character. Fried catfish was ok as well as shrimp. Long wait is not worth the food. Nice seating by the river.

We decided on bbq for the last night in town. I got the ribs and they were amazing! Fall off the bones delicious and full of flavor! We will be be returning here again!

Was here 10+ years ago and we stopped in today. The food was good as I remembered. Awesome!!

They get the star for the view, but that is the only thing "starry" about this place. Very unwelcoming for the area. Cash only. Cannot use your own cup to get a fountain drink. Must use their styrofoam cups to create more litter, even if you have a reusable cup. Food is very mediocre, especially for their prices. All in all, get food elsewhere. There is much better food and hospitality. Go here for lesson 101 on how to serve bbq poorly.

Would have gave 5 stars if there was more inside seating. The food was great though and plenty of it. Better have cash because they don't take cards.
